Early Stages

In progress
Goldilocks
Oil
36"x36"
This is "Goldilocks" from my painting class.  It's still in early stages.  I'm really slow as I am a babe when it comes to working with oils and need much assistance.  The class is large and when I have a question it could take up to an hour before she gets around to me.  It's funny, working with a seasoned oil painter is like working with a chef.  "A little bit" and "larger amount" are measurements.  What's intuitive for them is mind boggling to me.  Oh well.  It will come.  What I like about oils over acrylics is that you can take a rag and wipe off an entire part of the picture if you don't like it.  Also, you feel a little giddy after working in a room full of turps after three hours;-)
