I was in a mood when I drew the last drawing at the lifedrawing group on Friday.  I had been thinking about what's going on in the city and having a very bad art day.

One of the kids friends was murdered just before Christmas and had his body dumped in the street downtown in China town.  He was a good kid.  Three of the accused are now out on bail and one fled the country.

A man has been running up behind women on the street in areas I frequent and knocking them on the head with a hammer then running away.

A 16 year old got pulled into an SUV and raped.

One of our neighbours who we've gotten along very well with, has just been dragged away by the police and charged with possession of child pornography.  Mr. P. says he won't trust my internal alarms anymore.  There are others I don't trust alone with my kids, but he didn't send out any weird vibes at all.  All that being said, he has only been charged and not taken to court yet, so he's innocent until proven guilty.  Yet I'll not leave my kids alone with him.  Funny thing is, I always felt better when he would be out with his dog when the kids were playing because I had a good feeling about him.

Anyhow, it was one of those weeks when you wonder why the hell God put you here and why you bother to stay!  What I'm supposed to contribute to society.  I suppose if nothing else then at least being a Mom should be reason enough, but our country values that job description least of all.  It's their belief that government can do even that better.  I just wish they'd stop trying to be everything and focus on capturing hammer weilding hooligans before they bop any more women on the head.

Oh what aweful news, these men should have been kept in prison. I'm sure that murderer's in the uk aren't allowed out on bail.
Don't give up talking to your friend who as lost her son this way.
This happened in our family, cousin Hazel, 14 years old and tore our hearts to peices. Many firends fell away while we went through it. I cried everyday for a year. I haven't shared this becuase it was so aweful.
Love, love and more love is needed.
Please be extra careful where you go. Keep safe!
I'll be glad when these guys are behind bars. They don't deserve to be free.
Loads of love!

I'm so sorry to hear about what is going on in your life and city. I know there isn't a lot I can say that would be of comfort, but know that others are thinking of you and wishing the best for you and your children.

I feel so bad for what happened to your kids' friend before Christmas. Sometimes, the horrible things going on around us does make us question the point of human existence. I have asked these same questions myself.

I so agree about your view on government trying to take on a parental role to our kids. It's the same here and I've been saying for years how much I hate the government trying to take control away from the parents. It seems like they are trying to divide family units. Maddening!

On a brighter note, your artwork is amazing!!!

All I can say is wow to what and what is your purpose, - ...well to be the presence of Love in all that is coming up in your face. What that means, I'm not sure but It is a healing idea I'm told.

But I have to say, wow wow to your wonderful frog painting..you are so darn good.

Maybe just continue to be a powerful force for good in your community.

well that didn't sound right in that first sentence (I got interrupted)...I meant to say wow, to all that is going on in your city/town/area. Disturbing...

Bring back vigilantes for hire.... actually....the government should hire them. It would save plenty of the billions they are misspending on our ridiculous so-called "justice system" that lets criminals off with a slap on the wrist and leaves us all as victims yet again.

Somebody give me a gun...and maybe a silencer for it...or... poison darts.... I'd be happy to pop a few of the bad guys... for free..... who would suspect a little old white haired lady?

Take back our neighbourhoods....I'm all for it.
