That said, I think I could be persuaded...lol I remember when my kids were in primary school, one of the parents would be up at the school at 'drop off' and 'pick up' times with at least two pet rats crawling over him. He waits...We have a pet rat and I love him to bits. He waits for me in the evenings to give him a treat. I just love to see him. Such a kind pet! We call him Ratty mainly. His name is really Rocket Curly Wurly Tim. You can't be even near school grounds with anything resembling a live creature other than human or you'll get told. Pets are the new peanut of this generation of the school setting. Next they won't allow plants.
