What the fight was about was not important. Kids One through Four had been fighting pretty much non-stop throughout the whole day. I was running out of ideas and decided to re-visit an old punishment that had worked for a while.
"Enough! Come here and stand in front of me!" I said in a now raspy voice.
"Apologize to each other and then think of one nice thing about your sister and tell her what it is that you like." I instructed.
3 minutes go by......
"You now have lost computer privileges for taking too long. Want to try for t.v. too?" I ask.
3 more minutes go by.....
"You have now lost t.v. Next I go into your room with a garbage bag and start to collect Webkinz....."
"Noooooooo! I like that she has eyes!!!!" Three of Four yells desperately.
"I like that she has eyes too!" Screams Two.
"Well, I guess that's something. Now hug."
Sigh. Twenty seven days until school starts. I'm counting.

How about "she's the very best at being hated."
Has that one been used on you?
Oh, this is a good one. There's a cartoon!
I think I may have to try to use that punishment! Could have used it when I was corraling seven kids a couple of weeks ago.
BTW my word verification is "bless". Quite appropo.
