If I didn't know any better I'd say he's stayed in the Canadian city in which we live. Looks much the same right down to the teeny weenie garbage can our city is trying to get us to adopt. The only difference here might be that most of the signage that is not in English and French is in arabic instead of Japanese.

thats a rubbish bin? what are you supposed to put in it, one tissue? o.0
I was wondering that myself! The Japanese must have little garbage!
That rubbish bin looks like it belongs in a dollhouse!
Your art is amazing. I love the hand with the caterpillar. And your portraits, wow. I use to follow tutorials for colored pencil but haven't done that in awhile. I should get back to that, your work in inspiring.
Thanks Sandy and ditto! Loved browsing the art on your site. You are amazing! I can't believe how fast you can work!
Apparently that's the garbage can from the bathroom. Wonder what their kitchen garbage looks like.
This household needs bigger, more heavier-duty bins than that! Here, we have a tidy/rubbish bin in every room of the house apart from the lounge-room though, when I see all the bits of lolly wrappers and tissues the kids leave on the coffee table in there, I may have to re-think that.
