Sleeping Tempest

3 different models were used to do this painting.  Not by choice mind you!  (I thought it was the artists that were supposed to be temperamental not the models.)  It's still not done but is unlikely to ever get finished.

Do tell. How did the models give you trouble?

The first model threw a fit because none of the artists wanted to paint him from the front. He's the one you have a drawing of. (I wanted a dong free pose thank you very much!) It went terribly down hill from there.

how odd, models should take input from the artists that are drawing them. if they want to draw a different pose, as long as its not too complicated, it shouldn't be a problem

This fellow walked in and told us that he was picking the pose and we had no say because he was tired. Then he verbally abused the instructor for 3 hours. I lost it at one point and yelled at him to shut up. I'm his new favourite;-)

i imagined that be clothes less would make someone passive& vulnerable.Obviously not in his case!
